The Founder is thrilled to interview Jay Singh, Co-Founder and Chief Customer Officer of LambdaTest, and Mudit Singh, Head of Marketing and a founding team member. LambdaTest, a leading cloud-based unified testing platform, recently announced a $38 million funding round to propel its cutting-edge innovations like KaneAI and the HyperExecute platform. With over 15,000 customers and a mission to redefine software quality assurance (QA) standards, LambdaTest is at the forefront of AI-powered QA solutions. In this exclusive conversation, we delve into the minds behind the company, exploring their journey, vision, and insights into the future of QA and AI-driven technology.
Q. Jay, as a Co-Founder, what inspired you to start LambdaTest, and how has your journey shaped the company’s ethos?
In 2017, Asad Khan, the co-founder and CEO of LambdaTest, and I recognized a significant gap in the software testing ecosystem. Despite its critical role in the SDLC, it was often overlooked. The existing solutions in the market at the time were stagnant and lacked innovation.
Asad had previously founded 360Logica and he understood the struggles that testers and developers faced first-hand because of the lack of a simplified testing process.
LambdaTest was born out of our joint vision to disrupt the software testing space and build an integrated software testing platform that is both scalable and flexible to help developers perform all types of testing. This was the main inspiration behind LambdaTest.
In April 2024, I took on the additional role of Chief Customer Officer (CCO) at LambdaTest to ensure we are consistently raising the bar for customer experience and integrating customer feedback directly into our product development. This customer-focused approach has been instrumental in shaping LambdaTest’s ethos and driving our success in the software testing industry. Today, we help 10,000+ enterprises accelerate their software development cycles while ensuring the highest quality and reliability.
Q. Mudit, being a founding team member, what has been your most memorable moment at LambdaTest, and how has it influenced your career?
As the Head of Marketing at LambdaTest, one of my most memorable experiences has been seeing how our marketing strategies have grown and helped the company succeed. From creating our brand to running big campaigns to attract users, every step has been a chance to learn and try new things.
One moment that really stands out was when we ran our first major marketing campaign. It included things like content marketing, SEO, ads, and engaging with the community. The positive feedback we got showed that our approach was working and how powerful it is to use different marketing methods together to grow a tech startup.
This experience has been a big part of my career growth. It helped me understand how to create marketing strategies that connect with people around the world. It also showed me how important it is to use data to make decisions and to stay flexible as the digital world changes. Through these experiences, I’ve grown as a marketer and helped LambdaTest in its mission to support developers and testers everywhere.

Q. With over 15,000 customers, including Fortune 500 companies, what has been your most significant customer success story to date?
One of our most impactful customer success stories comes from our partnership with Lereta LLC, a leading provider of real estate tax and flood services. Facing challenges like slow test execution, flaky results, and insufficient support, Lereta sought a solution to match their growing demands for seamless digital experiences.
With LambdaTest HyperExecute, Lereta achieved 70% faster test execution by leveraging a distributed cloud infrastructure that reduced network latency and enabled parallel testing at scale. This transformation wasn’t just about speed—it ensured reliable test results with near-zero flakiness, enabling their team to focus on real issues instead of false positives or negatives.
HyperExecute’s insightful dashboard and automated reporting tools streamlined test management, while our customer-first approach provided tailored support, ensuring Lereta’s success throughout its testing journey. With LambdaTest, they not only met development deadlines but elevated their customer experience—proving the power of efficient and reliable testing at scale.
Q. HyperExecute claims to enable 2.5x faster test resolution. Can you share technical insights into how this platform achieves such impressive efficiency?
HyperExecute is an AI-powered test execution platform developed by LambdaTest that accelerates test execution by up to 70% compared to traditional cloud-based solutions.
It achieves this enhanced efficiency through several key technical strategies
Intelligent Orchestration: Reduces test execution time by up to 30% through AI-driven test orchestration that optimizes the order and distribution of tests based on historical data and dependencies.
Parallel Execution: Supports up to 1000+ parallel test executions, significantly reducing the overall testing time by allowing multiple test cases to run concurrently across distributed environments.
Smart Caching: Achieves a 40% reduction in setup and teardown time by caching commonly used data and environments, minimizing redundant operations, and accelerating the start-up of test environments.
Resource Optimization: Increases resource utilization efficiency by up to 50% through dynamic allocation, ensuring that compute resources are optimally used according to the test load, preventing over-provisioning or underutilization.
Integration with CI/CD Pipelines: Cuts down integration time by up to 25%, enabling seamless connectivity with popular CI/CD tools (like Jenkins, GitLab, and GitHub Actions), thus reducing the manual overhead and accelerating the feedback loop in the development cycle.
